About Hinchinbrook Honey:
Hinchinbrook Honey and Hives is a family-owned and operated business, run by locals Peter and Lilian Woolley.
Peter has been a keen beekeeper from a young age of 13. Peter is a local but also works at the sugar mill. Lilian has been involved in the past 10 years but now is almost a full time beekeeper after leaving her paid job as an accountant to focus on her Mum / carer duties of three teenage children.
Hinchinbrook Honey and Hives are slowly expanding hive quantities to meet pollination needs with our region but, naturally, family comes first.
The business currently operates 100 bee hives in the region and has expansion plans to double these numbers in the near future.
